Hi, I'm Yashwont.

I build practical digital products from Kathmandu.

I'm a Computer Science graduate who likes turning an idea into working software — the kind that's structured underneath and straightforward to use. I care as much about how a project is put together as how it looks on screen.

Open to new opportunities

Currently exploring full-stack product development, interface engineering, and useful digital tools.

How I work

01

I start by understanding what the user actually needs.

Before touching a design or a database schema, I try to understand who's using this and why.

02

I keep the interface and code structure understandable.

Simple enough that I — or anyone else — can open it again in six months and know what's going on.

03

I test the important paths before calling something complete.

The core flow has to work properly before a project counts as done.

A few details

  • Based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • Interested in useful software and thoughtful interface design, more than in following trends.
  • Currently building out this portfolio's own backend — auth, file storage, and a small admin panel — as a way of learning full-stack Next.js.
  • Open to junior software, frontend, and collaborative development opportunities.
